Mango, Turmeric, and Cardamom Lassi

A mango lassi should be the perfect combination of creamy, sweet, tangy, spiced, and salted. Fortunately, when you make this drink at home, you can adjust the flavorings to your heart's content to get the perfect combination for your palate. This recipe uses frozen mango for convenience, though fresh mango will work perfectly well. Cardamom adds a floral scent, while turmeric ups the yellow color and a hint of earthy spice. Don't forget the salt -- it helps to accentuate the sweetness of the mango and adds extra refeshment to each sip!

Spices used in this recipe

Cardamom, Green Ground
Turmeric, Ground
Salt, Kosher




Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Taste and add more salt or spices as desired. Serve immediately.
